Volunteers are the backbone of any environmental charity, with huge tree planting jobs becoming suddenly a lot more manageable thanks to the help of local volunteers.
Tree planting events run throughout planting season (October to March), then tree maintenance sessions where we do weeding, mulching, and sometimes watering if there’s a big enough drought to need it.
You can also join us for other sessions, like spreading wild flower seed, removing invasive species to make room for native species, and litter picking to avoid plastics killing our wildlife.
No special skills needed, we’ll let you know what to bring and train you up on the day. People of all ages and abilities welcome.
